"I've been a policyowner with Janice for over 30 years. She meets with me over any concerns that I have and goes over my policies to see if everything is current. Almost all of the times I have met with her, she asks me questions that I dont think of so that I am covered properly or that I am not over insured. Janice works for her policeholders and I highly recommend her."

"Rates were pretty good, service was terrible at the end for me. Had them for years without much issue, made some recent changes and a bunch of confusing, irregular payments kept showing up. I e-mailed to ask about it and specifically requested email reply back so I could have it in writing to better understand. That request was ignored and all I received back was a "when can you call me?" reply. When I did call, I was told "don't be confused" when asking a question so I could understand. I had had enough and switched insurance as I was quoted a slightly cheaper rate anyways. Sent an email telling them my reasoning for cancelling and what date I wanted the policies terminated. Requested an email confirmation back so I would know they received my request. I did not get an e-mail reply, and when calling the next day I found out that it had already been cancelled from my e-mail despite getting no reply. Was told that they don't do confirmation emails for cancellation and I'll get something in the mail. I would single the agent Brandon out as being someone who actually DID seem to care and was reliable when I talked to him through my time with State Farm."

"My mom and I have been with Janice Peterson for 20+ years and I could count on one hand how many times I have actually been able to get past her front desk staff member Suzanne to speak with her in regards to a question or even have the opportunity to sit with her to sign paperwork. I am always stoped by Suzanne at the front desk with an excuse on why she is unavailable and that Suzanne can help. This week I had questions that I wanted to specifically talk to an agent about due to my car being involved in a hit and run accident. I called and left a voicemail and specifically asked to speak with Janice or her son. Not to my surprise I get a call back from Suzanne. I had to tell Suzanne 3 times that I didn’t want to speak with her but Janice and that I don’t feel like it should be such a hassle for a customer to speak with their agent. Luckily Janice decided to call me back today but not without belittling my concerns in regards to how I feel like I should be able to talk to my agent if requested. I was told by Janice that she would not apologize and word for word told “Thanks for telling me how to do my job that I have been doing for 30+ years.” When I voiced how horrible her customer service has been all these years. I didn’t want to speak with Suzanne for a reason. The last time I had made a claim with my car I had been told wrong information from Suzanne that I would only be allowed one tow but found out after calling back the customer service line and speaking with them that was actually false information. If you are looking for a personal agent who actually likes to Interact with their clients and make you feel like they actually care about your needs and concerns she is NOT the one. State Farm and their goals and values in a company are definitely not shown in Janice Peterson."
